Welcome. I write short stories. And some medium and long ones too.
Daniel started writing seriously in 2017 after a relocation from Bristol to the Midlands meant that he had a bit more free time. He’d always read voraciously from a young age, and thought he’d give writing a go, having had some ideas in his head for a while.
The first ever short story he submitted came second, and highly commended from over 1000 entries, in the 2018 Writers and Artists Short Story competition (Bloomsbury, UK).
Since then he’s been writing steadily, and submitting or entering stories to various journals, magazines or competitions all over the world.
‘Office Revenge’ was published in Spadina Literary Review, Canada.
‘Change’ was highly commended in the Potteries Prize 2019.
‘Christmas Carol’ is to be published in issue 40 of Dreamcatcher Magazine, Uk,
‘Prohibited Item in Bagging Area’ will be published in issue 2 of Reality Break magazine, USA.
